Chris Harrison Apologizes for defending Bachelor contestant in interview that “perpetuates racism”

Chris Harrison is one the most host. He hosts American television and game show host. One of the most famous works of his is the host of the ABC reality television dating show The Bachelor. He has been working with this dating show since 2002. Recently Chris Harrison has apologized for defending Bachelor contestant in an interview. He made comments about contestant Rachel Kirkconnell’s social media controversy. This year there were various social media accusations against the current season of The Bachelor. This has been criticized for photos that have re Surfaced from her past. The show’s contestant Rachael Kirkconnell appears to have been photographed in attendance at an antebellum plantation-themed fraternity formal black in 2018. Earlier we have seen that Matt James has defended the contestant and now Chris Harrison did it too.

Harrison Apologizes

Harrison has apologized for his commentary which he has posted on his social media handle. He posted on his social media handle that he took a stance on topics about which he should have better informed. He later informed them that he wanted her to speak on her own behalf. He even realizes his mistake that what he did has caused harm by wrongly speaking in a manner that perpetuates racism. He later felt sorry for what he spoke for that and even thank the members of the bachelor nation who have helped him in this time. Later in the interview, the things have been cleared by him properly.

She questioned Harrison’s comments and provided her opposing viewpoint. Harrison added that he boomed while looking at the photograph of Kirkconnell at the plantation-themed party. For this Lindsay said that picture was taken from 2018 at an Old South antebellum party’ and that was not a good look. The argument between them heated up and Harrison becomes defensive and argued.

Harrison Showed sympathy

Not only this layer Harrison has expressed sympathy towards Kirkconnell and also towards her family. He stated that social media controversy has led her public to dig into her history and political views. He believed that she has a right to speak for this. He even added that people are just tearing this girl’s life apart.
