The Uncanny Counter Episode 6 plot, The Tragic Past Of Do Ha Na
The “Counters” disguise themselves as employees of a noodle restaurant while fighting and killing demons who escape and roam the earth. Gugudan’s member and I.O.I’s ex-member Kim Sejeong plays the character of the “human radar” Do Ha Na, a badass, headstrong girl and a Counter who has the power to sense demonic auras and presence and also possess psychometric abilities, where she can read and see memories of people and inanimate objects with just a single touch. Jo Byeong Gyu plays the role of So Mun, who gets full demon-slaying and hunting superpowers once he has joined the group of “Counters”. He follows Do Ha Na while she takes a casual stroll down a street at night where she stops in front of a house and looks at it with a sad look on her face. The production staffers informed sources that the 6th episode will reveal the past of Kim Sejeong’s character, and is bound to bring tears to the audience’s eyes as she displays an impressive emotional acting scene.
Other News: Good Ratings With Just Few Episodes
With just around 6 episodes, “The Uncanny Counter” is ranked no.2 in the all-time OCN drama ratings. Mostly due to capable and talented artists, as Kim Sejeong is originally an idol who made her debut from Produce 101 in an all-girl group called I.O.I. After their disbandment, she joined Gugudan and also focused on acting side-by-side. Jo Byeong Gyu was famous for his role in the hit K-Drama series “SKY Castle”, which also had good ratings as it showcases how people fail miserably as adults once they are blinded by the greed and desire to make their kids the “best” in all fields. “The Uncanny Counter” will run till January 17, 2020 and has 16 episodes overall.
